At Godfreys, we undertake a policy to buy from small family run farms, where they can guarantee that the turkeys and geese we buy are reared to our standards and specifications. All the farms have an open door policy to farming, and can be visited by us, and you at any time.
All the turkeys and geese are reared in the time honored manner in the field until November. They are all antibiotic free, drug free, GM free, free-range bronze, fed on a diet that is plant based. The turkeys and geese are then hung in the feather for two weeks, then hand plucked and cleaned. This ensures that all GODFREYS’ turkeys and geese are the best we can provide.
