Frank Godfrey Family Butcher
Frank Godfrey Ltd have traded in Islington for 100 years. The family used to own the rights to graze cattle in Clissold
Park. They used to buy livestock every week from Market Road, and at Christmas would buy the prize beast from the
Agricultural Hall in Upper Street.
Now the Godfrey family business is run from two sites, Highbury and Finsbury Park within Islington. The company is now run by Christopher, Jeremy and Philip each specialising in different parts of the business, from retail to quality sausage manufacturing and supplying London's top hotels, restaurants and Super Yachts around the world.
